Find Tones

Use the dropdown menu above to search for the kinds of tones you want. A few notes:

• Searching "All Products" may produce tones that are not compatible with your gear.
• Checking "Show all compatible tones" may produce tones that are compatible with your gear but may have been created with different gear.

Sort Tones

After searching for tones, you can sort them by clicking a column label (Style, Tone, Guitarist, etc.)

Icons and Alerts

The Pickup icon shows you whether a guitar tone is intended for single-coil pickups or humbuckers. The Tone Detail Alert icon appears when a tone has special features. Click the icon for details.

Download Tones

Tones can be downloaded in multiple ways.

• Line 6 Edit. If you are using gear compatible with Line 6 Edit, we recommend that you use Line 6 Edit’s Online Library browser to download tones. Clicking the “Get Tone” button will load the chosen tone into Line 6 Edit and into your connected Line 6 hardware (except when using Safari® browser).
• Direct download. Using Spider IV Edit, or software other than Line 6 Edit? Download tones directly from CustomTone.com.
• Direct download. Using Spider IV Edit, or software other than Line 6 Edit? Download tones directly from CustomTone.com.

Submit Tones

You can submit tones to CustomTone.com by clicking "Upload Tones" from the navigation menu above.
